The area designed for our youngest users will initially have around 8000 volumes in various media formats, accessible via equipment installed with children in mind.

In this area parents may help younger children discover reading. A space is set aside for them where they can find information on growth-related issues, child psychology and other issues that they may have concerning the intellectual, physical and emotional development of their children.

Much of the first floor is entirely dedicated to children. Txikiland is the child space of the Mediateka.

Bebeteca - Materials for the babyes (0-4 years).

Early Readers - Fund designed for children between 5 and 7 years begin to become familiar with letters and reading.

Reading corner - Fund literary fiction feature for users with more than 8 years.
